Bill and Betty Everett Ephemera and Model Collection
return to Collections index

Bill Everett has spent a lifetime collecting Pacific Electric Railway ephemera namely: tickets, transfers, passes, tokens and motorman and conductor uniform pins. The list goes on and on. But since 1951, Bill has been constructing Pacific Electric cars representing every model from the last years of the 1800s through the MTA rail cars of today. He has built these cars working from original construction plans, photographs and books to assure a perfectly prototypical model. In the past 50 years, Bill has modeled over 1000 cars representing streetcars and interurban cars from all over the United States. LARHF has indeed been fortunate to have had gifted from Bill and Betty models of all the PE cars as well as those cars operating on the Los Angeles Railway and historically earlier cars.

Bill has also built a remarkable model layout on which he has been able to operate his cars.
